Examinations And Practical Assessments
National
The Board continued to provide registration examinations and practical assessments on request during the year. In most cases candidates completed a course that included a written examination and an assessment of practical skills.
2,904 candidates sat examinations and assessments - an increase of 212 candidates.
Tradespersons include registered plumbers, registered gasfitters and registered plumber/gasfitters.

Overseas
Last year the Board introduced a policy of conducting examinations in the United Kingdom and South Africa. This policy was continued this year and as a result
18 persons from the United Kingdom and 12 from South Africa were registered.
