Practising Licences
The Board recognises that a registered electrical worker is
competent if they meet the requirements for the issuing of a
practising licence. He or she must have a licence if working for
payment or reward. There were 20,605 practising licences issued
for the 1998/1999 practising licence year (1 April 1998 to 30
June 1999). There were 20,032 issued the previous year, 18,818
in the 1996/97 year and 19,206 in the 1995/96 year.*
