Certificates of Compliance

The law requires electrical workers to issue a Certificate of Compliance to their client when they have completed certain electrical wiring work. The Certificate is an assurance that the work is safe and complies with the Electricity Act 1992 and its associated regulations. The Board and its network of 210 resellers (last year there were 221) sold 129,264 certificates that generated revenue of $999,846 (including $800 from the sale of 45 pads of certificate attachments). The net revenue (sales less refunds) was $986,661.
