and the certification of electrical work.

was issued with all practising licences.
Methods of handling complaints about electrical workers
have been streamlined and the processing time continues to be
reduced. An amendment to the Electricity Act will further
enhance the process.
Overheads for the Board have reduced by more than half from
$886,000 in 1998/99 to $360,000 in 2000/01.
A zero based review of the way the Board distributes its
information to electrical workers was completed.
Release of a policy on the supervision of electrical

A 5,000 contact telephone audit has updated the Board's
database.
A copy of AS/NZS3760:2001 "In service inspection and
testing of electrical appliances" is being issued with 2001/02
licences.
