  
2. Changes in ExaminationsThere have been a lot of changes happening in the examination area over the past few months, although they should have little or no affect on trainees. As a result of these changes, training providers across the country will now offer exams nationally on set dates throughout the year. Exams will be administered on one or two dates in May, June, August, September, October, November and December. Training providers can be contacted for specific exam dates. For your convenience an up-to-date list of training providers is now posted online at www.ewrb.govt.nz on the Training page or ring 0800 66 1000 to request a printed copy. One of the biggest changes is that the Board now directly administers the electricians regulations and theory examination. Trainees will now need to deal with training providers and the Board directly.
