3. Electrical Workers Practicing License Renewals 2005
The
Registrar has conducted a review of the Electrical
Workers Register and has identified over 12,000
Electrical Workers who will have their periodic
safety training expire this year.
In order to
be eligible for the issue of a practicing license,
all training i.e. Testing, Safe Working Practices,
CPR and Basic First Aid must be current at the time
of renewal.
Due to the
large number of Electrical Workers in this situation
the Registrar will be sending an email or paper
reminder to affected clients. This will give people
the opportunity to make the necessary arrangements
to receive tuition before the start of the renewal process in May.
One of the most common reasons for rejecting Electrical Workers
Practicing License Renewals is due to expired
training.
This can
often be frustrating for Electrical Workers as they
need to complete this before resubmitting their
application.
