New Registrar appointed
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has appointed Dr Simon Robb to the position of Registrar Electrical Workers Registration Board.
Dr Robb will assume statutory responsibilities on 1 July 2017 when the incumbent Registrar (Richard Stubbings) returns to his substantive role.
Dr Robb's thesis is in regulatory law from the University of Western Australia (2014), in addition to his LLB with First Class Honours, Waikato University (1994) and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Sciences), Massey University (1987).
He has previously held roles of Registrar and in-house counsel at the Medical Council of New Zealand and the Physiotherapy Board and has also done lecturing and management consulting.
