Practical advice on implementing Standards and achieving compliant and safe results across a range of electrical work.

The Board have begun developing this Toolbox as a practical way to assist you to know the requirements for compliant and safe electrical work.

Electrical workers in New Zealand are required to comply with the latest electrical Standards, Regulations, Codes and other rules when completing electrical work. The Electrical Workers Registration Board works to enhance electrical safety through improving competency of electrical workers.

The Toolbox initially covers a range of different topics, which are based upon feedback and common issues experienced by a range of electrical workers. The Board is planning to expand the collection of topics and issues covered by the Toolbox over time, based upon feedback from you and other electrical workers.
