Prosecution – EWRB v Shaun Stringer
On 13 August 2025, Shaun Stringer was sentenced on one charge of doing unauthorised prescribed electrical work.
In July 2022, Mr Stringer cut the neutral cable while doing electrical work at his brother’s house. This created a serious risk of electric shock that could have been fatal.
Mr Stringer was fined $2,000 and must pay solicitor and Court costs. 90% of the fine will be paid to the Board.
