- Summary: The Board found some aspects of the prescribed electrical work carried out by the Respondent were both negligent and incompetent and lead to a linesman receiving an electric shock. The work was not compliant, and it was not safe to connect therefore the certification issued was false and misleading. The Board ordered the Respondent’s licence is suspended until such time as he passes the Board’s regulations exam and pays costs of $450. The matter was dealt with on the basis of an agreed statement of facts.
