The Electrical Workers Registration Board promotes safety for all New Zealanders by ensuring the competence of electrical workers.

Apply for a Limited Certificate

Your Limited Certificate enables you to work while you train to become a registered and licensed electrical worker. You must hold a Limited Certificate to complete registration requirements.

Standards New Zealand via RealMe®

NZ Standards for all electrical installations and appliances are available to all licensed electrical workers. A login to the EW Portal system is required.
