Have your say on the future delivery of EarnLearn’s electrical training
Complete the survey to have your say.
The Energy and Infrastructure Industry Skills Board (EI ISB) and the Electrotechnology, Information Technology and Creative Industry Skills Board (ETITC ISB) are informing industry on the future delivery of EarnLearn’s electrical work-based training and gathering feedback on what is important to industry as this transition progresses.
Around 1,800 EarnLearn electrical learners and their programmes will need to move to a tertiary education provider by the end of December 2027.
The survey outlines 5 potential future delivery options:
- A new industry-led private training establishment.
- An existing private training establishment.
- A consortium of institutes of technology and polytechnics.
- A single institute of technology or polytechnic.
- A wānanga.
It asks whether you understand the available options and which factors should be prioritised when assessing them. You can also provide comments for consideration as transition planning continues.
An online webinar will be held on Monday 12 October to explain the potential delivery options and give industry an opportunity to ask questions about the transition.
