Expressions of Interest – Future Members Programme

Licensed electrical workers who are interested in participating in the Board’s aspiring or Future Board Member programme are asked to register their interest by emailing a covering letter and curriculum vitae to info@ewrb.govt.nz. The covering letter should cover why the applicant would like to join the programme and how they think it would assist their career development as an electrical worker. Appointments are for one year. Please note that your employer’s support to participate in the programme is required.

Future Members Programme

The aspiring or future Board Member programme is designed to offer an opportunity to electrical workers who aspire to join the Board an opportunity to gain some exposure to what the Board does and what it is like to be a Board Member.

The programme involves selected electrical workers being provided with training and an induction prior to them joining the Board for a selected number of meetings. Each Aspiring Member is given a Board Member mentor to assist in their development. Appointments run for one year.

Future Members do not have voting rights the programme encourages them to engage in and contribute to the Board’s discussions.
