Electrical Engineer (Endorsed Mining Operations)
Required work experience
To become an Electrical Engineer (Endorsed Mining Operations) you must have:
- Held Registration as an Electrical Engineer with the EWRB in New Zealand for a period of not less than 2 years
- Completed not less than 1 year (2000 hours) of practical experience satisfactory to the Board
- Adequate knowledge, training, skills, and experience satisfactory to the Board of:
- The control of earth potential rise
- The use of relocatable mining electrical equipment
- The performance of safety functions required for mining activities and mining electrical equipment
- Risk management
