Relicensing round is now open

As you know, all 2015/17 practising licences will expire on 30 June 2017.

You must renew your licence prior to 30 June, if you want to continue to carry out prescribed electrical work.

All registered electrical workers must hold a practising licence to carry out prescribed electrical work. This is a requirement of Section 95 of the Electricity Act 1992. Visit Relicensing to relicense online.

We’ve noticed that a few electrical workers seem to be leaving booking in for competency training for the last minute.

Most training providers have spaces or the ability to add extra courses, but they need to know demand. If you haven’t booked in, we advise that you do so now.
