Welcome to our new refreshed website
We’ve given the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) website a refresh with improved content, making it quicker and easier for you to access the information you need.
Our website includes EWRB guidelines and operational information on electrical regulation.
We’ve also made sure our content is up-to-date, improved navigation and enhanced the search capability across the site and regrouped guidance resources.
You’ll notice our new electrical workers’ Toolbox resource that has information to tackle some of those tricky questions you might have during your career. The Toolbox will continue to evolve with further information being provided over time.
We’ve also reorganised and revised information to help electrical workers and consumers to understand their rights and obligations within the electrical regulatory system. We hope this will help tradespeople and everyday New Zealanders before they enter into electrical contracts.
The website has made it to the 21st century at last. Now you can access the website when you’re out on site using your mobile phone or tablet. It’ll now be easier to keep up with changes to technology so we can keep provided you with easy to access, digital-friendly information.
The website refresh is part of the EWRB’s wider objective to help electrical workers and the sector as a whole, apply good regulatory practise, more accurately and confidently.
We have improved access to our advice and guidelines. We hope this helps more New Zealanders to understand their rights and obligations, leading to a safer, healthier, more durable electrical sector for everyone.
